15 February 2025 : New English Medium School, Shaniwar Peth, hosted a Scout and Guide Camp on February 15, 2025, for the students of classes 6 and 7. The event commenced with the students singing the Scout prayer, followed by a flag hoisting ceremony. The chief guest, Mr Bharat Mahajan, Scout Leader of New English School, Tilak Road, addressed the students, sharing valuable insights about the Scout and Guide movement and recounting his own experiences in this field.

Throughout the day, students were engaged in various activities, including non-fire cooking, cooking on fire, fun games, mocktail making, and tent decoration. These hands-on activities allowed students to explore new skills, learn how to cook on fire, and even create their own games. The day culminated with a tasting session, where students enjoyed the dishes prepared during the non-fire and fire cooking sessions. The camp proved to be an exciting and enriching experience for all participants under the guidance of Scout and Guide Masters Mrs. Jyoti Kurkelli, Mrs. Manali Shah, Mr Pramod Ukirde and Mr. Devidas Wakale.

This camp had a great impact on students with lasting memories of teamwork and adventure. Our Headmistress Smt. Hemangi Deshmukh appreciated the efforts taken by our students.
