28 February 2026 : We celebrated Science Day on 28th February 2026 with great enthusiasm. Students actively participated and presented innovative projects on Pollution, AI for Pollution Control, Reduce–Reuse–Recycle, Food Science, and Brain & Psychology. The students were guided by the Science teachers in exploring and presenting these innovative topics. The programme was graced by Dr. Himanshu Shekhar, Scientist ‘G’ and Group Director at the High Energy Materials Research Laboratory (HEMRL), DRDO, Pune. An alumnus of IIT Kanpur with a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, he has made significant contributions to defence research and engineering innovation. The event was also honoured by Dr. Shrikant Gabale, a noted Geomorphology Researcher. 

 The effective and innovative projects received appreciation in the form of medals and certificates, presented by the esteemed guests. The prize distribution ceremony was efficiently coordinated by Mr. Piyush Shah, parent of NEMS. The entire programme was conducted under the able guidance of Smt. Hemangi Deshmukh, (HM, NEMS Primary Section). 

 Parents visited the project display and appreciated the students’ creativity. The Science Day celebration was informative, inspiring, and enriched the overall learning experience of students.
